Une société de progrès et une nation forte sont celles des compétences diversifiées, fondées sur le respect de la dignité humaine, mais comportant des stratifications sociales, sous-tendues par l'horizontalité de la participation et du respect, mais gouvernées sur la base de la verticalité sans laquelle la société serait paralysée par l’inertie et la nation dépourvue de direction. L'humilité n'a jamais été un obstacle à l'élévation, elle est la marque des plus grands.
