His letter: So much sitting! The lessons are great but I won't to get out there and teach what I've learned!
He has three MTC instructors. Two served there, one who is from there. The native one says, "Idk why that we say it this way. We just do."
Best thing about the MTC: The Spirit. The great devotionals. Worst thing about the MTC: Wishing you could be out converting others.
His letter: "Why have I never felt like this before? I didn't know the Holy Spirit could fill my whole soul and give me indescribable joy!
#LDSConf is not a vacation for missionaries. It's work! The leaders give tons of training during that two-day conference.
There are some missionaries at the MTC with such a fire for missionary work that they practically heat up a room!
The MTC is not like "going to church everyday". The MTC is more like bring in Zion everyday. It's pretty dang sweet.
His letter: You haven't felt the Spirit quite like the Spirit that comes with an auditorium full of 7,000 missionaries.
Sunday at the MTC feels like the one day you can take really rest from classroom time and heavy studying.
His letter: The MTC is SO SPIRITUAL. It's like being inside of the temple all of the time. So many servants of Christ gathered in one place.
Saturdays don't really exist at the MTC. There's so much to do get yourself ready for the next two years! It's exciting!

First day of the MTC. Finding all the places you need: classrooms, laundry, cafeteria, store. No one said to bring your own hymn book!
The day started with meeting his first companion, an interview with the branch president and dinner. He will get fed so he'll be fine.
FIRST LETTER! He has companion from California. The other set of elders in his group are each from Arizona and California.
The best thing ever is to hear your missionary bear his testimony before he leaves.
Did he pack everything needed? White shirts? Ties? A testimony?
"We are now the Army of Helaman!" - the song of our missionary. He was so excited he was singing!
Wednesday! MTC day!! Some families were crying, hugging. But we were laughing so much. Is it really happening?
