@Hrawli @DanCabCrypto I took my pension and didn’t defer it, they told me it would be interest would be 2% plus the Bank of England base rate , I did speak to them on the phone because I also read it was before 2016, but a friend told me he had deferred his in 2024 , not sure if they changed the 2016
@Hrawli @DanCabCrypto Heather ,I was offered it last March but retired and took my pension, but they did tell me you must defer it for a minimum of 12 months to get it paid in a lump sum and I asked how long can you defer it it for , and was told anytime as long as it’s over 12 months
@DanCabCrypto @Hrawli Yes it must be deferred for at least 12 months and then you get it in a lump with interest and then taxed at 20% ( if you have retired ) or again it would be 40% if still working and earning over the 20% tax freehold
