Introducing the 2026 #ImagineCup Top Launch Startup: L-Guard Ltd 🎉 In many regions, road accidents are not always the most dangerous moment. The delay in response is. L-Guard is changing that. By combining Azure AI and IoT, this student-built system detects crashes in real time and alerts nearby hospitals and emergency responders immediately, helping shift outcomes when every second counts. This is a startup grounded in lived experience, shaped by real-world conditions, and built with a clear sense of responsibility for what comes next. As the Top Launch Startup, L-Guard receives $50,000 USD along with continued visibility and support from Microsoft as they scale what comes next. One of the highlights of @Microsoft Build this past week was spending time with Hans Yang and the @msft4startups team. During breakfast with our student founders, Hans shared his own founder journey—the wins, the setbacks, the lessons learned, and the realities of building something from the ground up. One theme resonated throughout the conversation: choose your team carefully. 💡 The right people won’t just help build the product. They’ll help shape the culture, navigate the challenges, and stand beside you through the moments that matter most. For founders preparing to scale a startup, those insights are invaluable. And hearing them from someone who has spent years working alongside founders and helping startups grow made the conversation all the more meaningful. 📈 Thank you, Hans, for investing in our founders and for sharing your experience so candidly. #studentfounders #startupjourney #entrepreneurship @RevoraHealth

One thing became clear very quickly at #MSBuild: People wanted to meet the founders. Throughout the event (including a stop at Fort Mason), attendees regularly walked up to our student founders to ask questions, hear their stories, learn more about their startups, and even snap a few photos. Watching founders like Patrick Brown of CopyFlag and @SuryaKukkapalli of @RevoraHealth connect with developers, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders from around the world was one of our favorite moments. A reminder that the next generation of founders is already making an impact. 💙
