I want to follow the State’s lead and lift the mask mandates. I believe we are beginning to lose the trust of the people. We already saw thousands of people flagrantly violate LA County’s mask mandate at the Super Bowl.

Tonight, 70,000 maskless adults are shoulder to shoulder, enjoying life together in California. Tomorrow, approximately 7,000,000 California school-children will be forced to wear masks and keep apart from each other. Politics are a disease. End the cruelty. Unmask the kids.

I hope someone is keeping copies of the videos in which a politician, physician, or scientist walks up to a podium, removes their mask, and then tells people that masks don't impede learning or communication.

For sake of argument say masking other peoples children in school provides a 10% reduction in cases contracted at school. Now let's finish the equation. How many speech delayed toddlers and teenage eating disorders is this reduction worth? Show your work.

What about the unvaccinated? Our current attitude toward them makes little sense. We make their lives miserable. Some even heap scorn on them when they die. At the same time, we make huge sacrifices, justifying ongoing restrictions with deaths that are concentrated among them.

If you’re not OK lying to magnify Covid— you’re a minimizer. If you believe Covid is serious but there are other serious things in life, too—you’re a denialist. If you think harms of NPIs and not just benefits should be weighed—you’re a eugenicist & white supremacist.
