As 2023 draws to a close I'd like to use this platform to thank all the promoters out there. The shit they have to put up with fights over font sizes / billing / fees / dj's who won't play after other djs etc..all for a few hours of dancing and music. Thank you. I know its hard.
Now festival season is over, don't forget to support your local dnb nights. It's important they get your support. They are the life force of our scene. Kudos to the promoters of these events, who make very little money, they do it for the love..
if there is things you love that feels unpopular alongside the mainstream, don't feel bad, keep doing what you love and find people who share that love and dont worry about the cool kids. this has been how I have lived my entire life. passion always trumps bandwagons.
