Thank you to local residents for raising concerns with myself and @cllr_aston about local alleyway that needed cleaning and clearing in UG - we reported this to the council and the work has now been done which has vastly improved the walkway for local residents to use!!

Great meeting today with Wilkinson Stonemasons to discuss the stone for the new memorial myself @cllr_aston and local residents are getting installed in Upper Gornal to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

Brilliant big clean up day in Upper Gornal. Thanks to the Oval and Tudor TRA for organising and all the volunteers for their fantastic work all year round, a very important community event and we are extremely lucky to have great groups such as this locally.

Fantastic to see the progress being made by local artist Ed Cartwright on the permanent wreath myself @cllr_aston and Woodsetton Charitable Trust are getting for the Woodsetton Memorial, marking 100 years since the end of WW1 - 'We Will Remember Them'

@cllr_aston @CorfieldLynette Glad to see the work started to clear the flt-tipping off Roundhouse Road/Hermit Street. Pushed the council to find the funding to get this area tidied up for local residents working alongside great local group Friends of Gornal Field.

Good walkabout on High Arcal Park off Downfield Drive with West Mids Police to look at problems with off-road motorbikes and discuss what more can be done to secure park. Meeting arranged with local area Sgt following a number of complaints from local residents.
