Something that has slipped by most Boxing observers, Shakur Stevenson easily defeated Teofimo Lopez back in January. Since then, Teifimo beat Rolly Romero to win the WBA World Welter title. And the guy that easily beat Teo, Shakur, hasn't fought since, & has nothing scheduled. Shakur wants to be overpaid, but pick & chose not only thee opponent, but also the exact weight they will fight at. Top fighter's that Shakur needs to fight to make the kind of purses he demands aren't playing that weight game with Shakur, just so they can get beat by a slick ultra fast southpaw. Shakur needs to stop demanding, & start fighting. With Shakur's natural attributes, that's a big enough advantage. Weight should definitely not be an added one.
