@Alykkat Tbh, I don't think there's a difference between asking for free promo and making an offer that's so insulting low it gets called out. As a company reaching out to a creator, you bare the brunt of that burden. If you want meaningful dialogue, then create a worthwhile conversation

The point is to change current marketing expectations. Creator marketing SHOULD be included in budgets and they SHOULD be paid for their labor.

Give creators a reason to care about your product. Take the two minutes to hand tailor that email. At the end of the day it's about respect. I'm not about to simp for capitalism if there's no bait on that hook.

That's not to say you can't do free promo for something you're passionate about. But the, "Hello Sir/Madam" generic mass emails where they clearly put no effort into researching the creator, does not inspire confidence.

It's exploitative to expect "lower" CC creators to advertise for free. If the company wanted Ninja to play a sponsored game you bet he's getting paid outside of a free game key.

If your going to make accusations of theft be prepared to back them up. Spreading misinformation going off the rumor mill is shit behavior. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

At worst it's imitation, at best inspiration. I would bet real life money dollars I can find a dozen other games that "look similar" to Hollow Knight since it's release. This is all sounding like a witch hunt tbh.

Someone came in saying .Pocketpair is lifting (ie copy/paste) background assets from Hollow Knight. Presumably this image from steam in an article I just ran across, since the game isn't even out yet. Guess my eyes are broken.

Our neighbor across from us is legit so loud that we just bought the same sound dampers you use in your cars to hang on our doorway. Dude never evolved past his frat days like "Sir you know the people on TV can't hear you, right?" Maidenless behavior.

Had some "discourse" with a dude in chat last night and my guy woke up this morning still mad in my dms. The fragility of a man's ego is fucking comical. Go get therapy and wash your ass.
