@ManasRprusty @LalitDevTiwari1 mastered chloroplast isolation and sequencing so we could include possible cytonuclear epistatic interactions. He also took a shot and transformed Arabidopsis with two alleles (Ashkelon vs Hermon) destined for the chloroplast, and…it worked!

We then realized causal diversity in the chloroplasts, hypothesizing that rpoC1 might be the causal. Then came @ManasRprusty, who designed and developed a new customized SNP chip (together with Adi) for wild barley nuclear genome, which allowed the first GWAS In B1K

@ManasRprusty @LalitDevTiwari1 Finally, analyzing a chloroplastic mutant from the new hay of ENU-treated barley, thanks to Noam Shental's (OU) very efficient ComSEQ, pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26959378/ supported the PEP complex role in modulating clock plasticity. Great team effort!
