Launceston TIC is open as usual today Friday 1 February. We wish to thank our council colleagues and the emergency services who worked throughout the night to keep roads clear and assist stranded travellers. Well done you!

Launceston Tourist Information Centre Unfortunately, the TIC will be closed on Monday 21 January. This is due to staff training. The centre will re-open on Tuesday at 09:00. We apologise for any inconvenience.

After a long illness, Councillor Budgen-Cawsey passed away at the weekend. Her tireless work for the town will be greatly missed. As a mark of respect, the town council flag will fly at half mast today. The thoughts and prayers of all at the TIC are sent to Val’s family.

HEART FM ARE COMING TO TOWN! Matt and Victoria from Heart Radio are in Launceston tomorrow. Christmas Market in Town Hall as well as our own market traders. The roads will be shut off which allows for a huge pedestrian zone. make it a date!
