Every tackle football sport in the world has for decades shown that if you make contact & wrap at the hips/legs & drive forward, you can bring down a ball-carrier. There’s zero need to instead coach players to swing their legs in the air & crash on legs/ankles to bring them down

@LaurieHoresh Might be a reason defensive players might not want to "drive forward" when tackling from any angle in which the runner might be going forward when this action is taken?
@LaurieHoresh LoL and the example here is part of the "hip drop" tackles that the NFL is trying to eliminate so.......
@LaurieHoresh These tackles require you to be able to angle from the front hip. NFL quickness is dramatically higher than Ruby.
@LaurieHoresh The chances of the smaller tackler getting his arms broken by the bigger ball carriers driving legs are about 90% higher. Look at what happened to Junior Seau. There is no such thing as a hip-drop tackle.
@LaurieHoresh Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good rant Laurie… the other issue is nobody from America will look at examples from Rugby League or Union… just because 🤷🏼
@LaurieHoresh They're running half as fast as NFL players and they have no pads on. Try a different example of a trailer trying to tackle some and both running full speed
@LaurieHoresh The drop tackle is not about landing on legs... they said you cant drop your legs out from under you and use physcis to make the tackle how they are doing in this video on may of those Who told you the penalty is about landing on legs lol?
