@14thPrimeCustom idk, i'm very tired of TF always being a dark and brooding nothing with a heavy focus on "the war. the war changes bots" G1 cartoon was all kinds of goofy fun and I'm glad that's the feel of this. whether or not it really hits while watching the movie is yet to be seen
sorta shocked to learn there's been as much pushback on the TF1 trailer as there has been. I mean the trailer I thought was great. had a few eye rolling moments I'll admit but like...what? were people expecting the " a human and their car" relationship for the 7th time in a row?

@LazyEyebrow -trailer was about as awful as this and still turned out to be decent in spite of that... and of course vice-versa, so not gonna hold my breath either.
@LazyEyebrow People also forget that the trailer was made to appeal to general audiences and not specifically transformers fans. Like they know that transformers fans are gonna see the movie because this is something we've wanted for a long while. Not expected does not equal bad.
@LazyEyebrow Honestly the tf community is so splintered and a lot of those splintered communities hate it just because it’s not what they want. G1 people hate it because it isn’t G1, bayverse fans hate it because it isn’t bayverse, etc. most level headed people I know liked the trailer.

It's clearly waaay more of a younger kids film than some will have wanted, and I will say that not all of the humour quite landed for me... but that's ok! It's a teaser after all, and besides, I strongly suspect Seveno will love it
I like the designs quite a bit. The main four are clearly going to transform (eh?) slowly into more recognisable versions of themselves, but as early 'proto' takes on the characters, this works well imo
