Never mentioned due process. The article is not newsworthy and is written to generate judgment and develop the opinions of the readers. Do you see articles every time a US Citizen is pulled over for a speeding ticket? Why should media ever inform people when an illegal overstays a visa? The only reason is to ‘develop’ your opinion- not report facts.

@VenusDoom14 @ABC Well, I can’t sit here and tell you I’ve seen the paperwork behind the alien, however, people don’t get arrested ‘just because’. Maybe on your TV drama.

@itlastslonger @ABC Jonathan, if I didn't know how the law works, I wouldn't comment on a News Post, and I wasn't asking for opinions. So, if you have something of substance to say, please do.

@StuHirsch @ABC Stuart. Prove that. Happy to review the laws that you say are 'my level of stupidity'.

@CarlosF24296222 @ABC Carlos, yes. Everyone knows this already- even criminals who show a blatant disregard for law.

@StevenWbr549 @ABC Steven how in the world did you jump to this conclusion? The man was arrested. I don't need to be told what to think about it- it's obvious there has not yet been a trial. This has absolutely nothing to do with your comment. Cheers.

@katywross @ABC Katy, yes of course. Intend of use with layers and court which is typically the place of criminals. This reporting style is not appropriate for thinking citizens that follow the law- its very obvious its used to sway though and polarize.

@HeavenDivineJoy @ABC Exactly- this is court language, not common man or public language- it only polarizes so go ahead and judge yourself rather than others- I promise you are wrong.

@MathProf @ABC In a court of law- not in the home or in public places. There is no need to tell the person WHAT they should be thinking.

Brotha- in the court of law yes. For the common man following the law there is absolutely no reason to use such a persuasive word. Just tell me the facts. Man was arrested for XXX. Thats all, done. This is exactly why the contra is so polarized. We used to all get along regardless of viewpoint. Looks like my dick for brains served me well.

Poor assumption, Bill. This isn't about the constitution- media is not mentioned within for very good reason. The word 'allegedly' only sprang up in popular use 20 years ago- it predisposes the reader / viewer of potential controversy- the fact that a law was broken is really the end of the story for the common man- which is why we have courts and a jury. The simple fact media uses the word is a proposal judge fore themselves- which is exactly then reason politics is so polarized today.

@KelliFitz72 @ABC The media should make no statement to status. Just the facts. The man was arrested. Period. Absolutely no need to color the facts with anything.
