@KarlaSchuster pete sucked in 2024! jose iglesias was the guy who got us excited and a purple mascot. he’s the same guy who calls citifield home. pete just told everyone baltimore is home. he opted out every chance he got. i liked him but my god he left in a poor way on his own.

@Rob85491852 @genethelawyer pete’s extension was modeled after matt olsens extension who is arguably a better player than pete. pete said he was opting out a mere hours after the last game and now said baltimore is home to him. he could have stayed if he wanted but he chose business. we move on

@CurtisLoew16 @Gavin2Hell and alonso got his homerun, can the fans stop chanting for him now? it’s pissing off the team they actually root for.

@sageemarioo pretty sure he rejected the extension before free agency and before boras so the market wouldn’t technically have weighed in. i’m fine he left. he chose to get his money. if he wanted to stay he would have stayed 🤷🏼‍♀️

@wbonilla1 @Jambro74 @B_Franqui_3 the argument is pete’s loyalty to the mets or the mets wanting him 🤷🏼‍♀️ glad he got his money but he had his chances to stay if he wanted. loyalty isn’t a thing really except for my guy brunson

@dsmith1462 @Ben_Yoel i know that, but mlb draft is highly regarded as the least important draft of any professional sports. my main thing was i’d just like to see them go on a run and carry that into next year. not lose and have the media constantly bitch about them.

@Ben_Yoel or the brewers! i would have taken your argument more seriously if you mentioned them. not the dodgers.

@Ben_Yoel that’s a tough comparison. 19/26 players on the dodgers active team were acquired via trades/external signings rather than growing up in the organization. the guardians have the most home grown team..they aren’t bad. that should have been your argument. the dodgers is laughable
