I met an authentic person at a little café here in town. He talked about faith & his experience under Fidel Castro. The up-close truth of a communist government. The person was Rafael Cruz, Ted Cruz’s father. I pray that people continue to awaken. (Not woke.) 🙏🏻

As a reader and writer of children’s chapter books, I prefer older storybooks. It’s the eloquent wording, smooth cadence, & richer plots. Also, they’re not laced with liberalism. Today I read The Children of Green Knowe, an English haunted garden tale. 📖 👻 📖
