Smites Fascists @LightsCameraIn1

I used to talk about D&D on here with my friends, now I mostly warn people about the police. Header and Icon done by @harpleedave youtube.com/channel/UCgEwj… Joined January 2019

@IlanaNight13 I'm sorry to hear that, there isn't an excuse for this sort of behavior, having your own blood disrespect you like that hurts.

@IlanaNight13 Saying anything negative about D&D and let's be honest, curse of strahd in particular it feels like, always somehow manages to cast a gate to the neckbeardiest level of the abyss. You are a braver man than I phral.

@CrimZon_666 @IlanaNight13 @terrible_party That being said I wrote these responses like you were asking in good faith, you weren't, we both know that, so you can get the fuck up out my timeline with your bullshit.

@CrimZon_666 @IlanaNight13 @terrible_party It's not only extremely insensitive but also disrespectful to the character that Van Richten is inspired by as well. The whole situation is just a mess and changing it to be a vampire hunting tiger not only makes more sense since some vampires can change shape.

In this document, I unpack the racism in van Richten and Ezmerelda's backstories, and offer some alternative options to improve your Curse of Strahd campaign. #dnd #ttrpg docs.google.com/document/d/18j…

The amount of 'friends' I have who need this reminder is truly demoralizing sometimes.

@D8bitGaming Looks interesting, does it go into LSD at all? There were studies into it as a legit treatment for ptsd (combined with therapy) before it got banned in the 60s. Plus there were recent studies a few years ago about MDMA (again, with therapy) being a potential treatment as well.

@jnunotex Oh I agree, as a GM I mostly improvise, I just meant I find it easier to improvise as a GM than a PC. Although that might just be me, forever GM over here.

@Erulissea @serafleur Yeah it's a followup to the original 2 series, it has it's own problems but there were parts of it I liked a lot.

@jnunotex @MrPuddins We end up psyching ourselves out. Everyone I know who has DMed or performed on stage has mentioned how much easier it was than they thought it would be heading into it. (2/2)

@jnunotex @MrPuddins Most of the time when a little kid falls over and everyone gasps the kid will start crying, if everyone remains calm so will the kid. I think GMing is the same way. I don't think being the central figure is the problem, I just think we talk up how scary public speaking is. (1/2)
