This is how you destroy a sport. You inject political propaganda and create division, turning tennis fans and players against each other. This is the work of activists who care not for the health of the sport we love. It starts with a friendly interview by @BenRothenberg, in which she spews hatred for WTA Tour players (they are "dangerous") from nations other than her own. Then she shows up wearing a t-shirt printed with a message calling attertion to her pet issue (which the message says she is not supposed to talk about). And now, out of the woodwork, emerge a multitude of voices supporting their "newly discovered" drama queen and her dubious cause. She is not a "hero". Her behavior is not that of a role model. She does't respect her fellow players. I don't think she gives two sh*ts about the Austrailian Open, or women's tennis in general. Can you imagine what would happen if it became fashionable for WTA Tour players to get on their individual soap boxes and hijack the tournament in the name of their favorite cause? The WTA needs to put an end to this sham NOW! 🎾

During the press conference she wore a t-shirt saying "I need your help to protect Ukrainian children and women, but I can't talk about it here"

Another so-called "sports reporter", @tennis365com, insists on injecting politics into coverage of the Austrailian Open! 👎 Why do they want to divide us tennis fans? What di they have against the tennis community?

And now another lame "sports reporter", @FS_Tennis1 , attempts to interjet politics into coverage of the Austrailian Open. Sadly, it appears this trend has become fashionable lately 👎

Enough already! Just stop trying to inject politics into your coverage of the WTA Tour. You are just creating unwanted division within the tennis community. Shame on @TheTennisLetter 👎 Amanda handled your lame question very well, all credit to her.👍

Amanda Anisimova was asked if what’s been happening in the U.S. over the last year complicates her feelings of playing under the American flag “I’ve been asking a lot of the American players how it feels to play under the American flag right now. I’m curious how you feel..”

So you support WTA Tour players spewing hate on fellow players because of their nationality? Please tell how her behavior enhances our experience as tennis fans? What if other players tried to use the tour as their personal stage to their pet projects? Don't you see how divisive she is? How selfish?

Are you, @TennisONEApp, aware of the hate @Olyninkova spewed on her fellow WTA players, calling them "dangerous", because they happen to be from a country other than hers? What about those so called "dangerous" players? They have fathers too. Injecting the conflict in Ukraine into this Grand Slam is so divisive. It needs to stop now! Let's keep the WTA Tour as a safe place where we can celebrate wonderful athletes from all nations who work so hard to hone their craft for our pleasure and enjoyment! 🎾

Why @BenRothenberg do you insist on promoting this player who expresses her hatred of fellow WTA players just because of their nationality? The WTA does NOT need this!

Ben that’s a really lame interview! Why would you give any WTA player a platform to spew hate towards fellow players due to their nationality? Shame on you, you should know better! 👎

Sad to see Danielle continue to cast shade on Iga at apparently every opportunity. But then class has never been her strongest suit. 👎
