Biggest pleasure in the world is bringing a full kit for one. single. song.
No matter what, never trust a manager who wants to be a 'friend'.
What's up my Russian follower's? Is it true that in mother Russia, bars pay you?
@Pearlineh2 and why the fuck would I want to watch that? Is he playing music to an empty hall? No?
We can't afford to pay you but you have a $50 bar tab. #howaboutjustgiveusthecash
"There will be a $5 cover at the door but regulars and women our doorguy find attractive will get in for free."
Our manager doesn't do things for us, he just tells us what we should do. #firstworldproblems
Our ticket sales determine our time slot? AND we have to sell 50 tickets to even make up the cost for gas? WHERE DO WE SIGN UP??!?!
Musicians should be paid like waiters, a minimum amount and extra depending on how the night goes. No more of this leaving empty handed.
"oh you brought all your gear in? You'll have to wait for some patrons to leave so we can move tables.". #thingsownerssay
#IUsedTo love playing all original music until people stopped wanting to pay to hear it.
Who ends up loosing the most money playing gigs? Bassists or Drummers. Most gear = bigger car = more money for gas. #localmusic
