@BradyBGWX Just curious, have you done a cytokine panel? Sometimes after illnesses like this the body can be stuck in a cytokine storm that prolongs illness. Some are tough to get covered by insurance, but if the situation checks out, which sounds like it does here, could be a good data point

@BradyBGWX I had a similar post viral situation after my first time getting COVID. Chills, hot feeling all over, unable to sleep, even a decent amount of peripheral nerve damage. The body after fighting so hard struggled to transition from sympathetic to parasympathetic…

@BradyBGWX Constant fight or flight. It improves.Viruses, especially this year’s flu, really attack the body. The important thing is to help support it through its cycles and help teach normalcy again.Therapies that try to force healing aren’t always the best. Hang in there. It will improve

@berner_will @OTN_Weather It all depends on the strength of the airmass the storm runs into, but especially mid - late March we’d need a very intense arctic airmass to get a snow near the coast (New England). I wouldn’t worry too much about the low placement here. At hour 372 it’s just fun to look at.

@mihelich_mike @AdamFurey4 Really not a fan of that sun angle argument being as huge a factor as it’s made out to be. I’ve heard none stop about sun angle since Feb 10th. Is it more difficult to get meaningful snow? Yes, but nowhere near impossible. This was a few hours ago today on 3/3.

@WxRiskGrains @weatherwilly Have you ever considered the possibility of having a… respectful conversation rather than calling everyone and their grandma morons 🤯🤯🤯

I don’t quite understand the urge by many now in the Wx community to make such declarative statements when we just do not have the forecasting skill to know if they are true. Just 2 weeks ago we had professional Mets who brag about their credentials telling the public there was “NO CHANCE” of a snowstorm and some parts of SNE and LI saw their biggest snowstorm *ever*. Truth is that it’s March 3rd and odds are, big snowstorms are done in the Mid Atlantic. But for New England, who really knows. Boston averages nearly 10” of snow every March and has honestly been more of a winter month than December in the last decade. Just don’t really understand the unwillingness to add in any caveats/convey any uncertainty.

Due to our strong cold high pressure to the north, and deep snow pack modeling are correcting a decent bit colder with today’s event. This likely means some more intense icing a bit further south of I-95 than expected. Will be a tough commute this evening, stay vigilant.

We see colder trends at the surface tomorrow resulting in more frozen precip rather than pure rain event. That warm nose in the upper levels will still push through causing some nasty freezing rain after an initial thump of snow. A 1-3 event south of NH MA boarder and 3-6 north.

@Lclimateguy @ChrisGloninger You post for engagement, which is great! No issues there. Because of that you get 1000000 of views, but to then take that platform and so clearly spew that climate change is nonsense due to a weather map from 1970 (various other posts as well) is just spewing misinformation.

@BronxWX @AdamFurey4 He refuses to explain himself and if you ask why he blocks you. I asked him why people looking at “periods of interest” regarding snow bothered him so much and was blocked right away. It’s hilarious though, I’m sure hes been miserable this winter. Been an action packed season!

@mike61400 You don’t gotta justify it. Idk why people are freaking out if it was actually 36” instead of 40”. Unreal storm down there, subsidence been screwing us closer to Worcester but I’m happy to sacrifice if it means someone gets an all time record 🫡

Seeing some worrying posts about the GFS south trends. We’re beyond the use of globals at this stage. Hi res and now casting is what should be focused on. For reference, the day gfs trend compared to the euro trend. Complete opposites.
