Now that we know how oblivious we are, let’s move on to some more detailed propositions.

How can you prevent sparking chaos? 1. Settle whether or not you are oblivious to an idea (using the question in my previous tweet) 2. If you’ve found that you are oblivious, introduce the idea as a question, not a statement. 3. Keep emotion out of your search for truth.

How do you know if you are oblivious to something or not? Here‘s what to ask yourself: “Is there a potential counter-point to my idea?” No? Congratulations, you know this to be the truth. Yes? Then you are oblivious to the truth. Don’t act so sure of yourself!

Why does Oblivion + Public Media = Chaos? People are unaware of the their oblivion. They will believe anything so long as it makes a good story. But is the story true? This is how chaos is sparked. Acting as though what you are saying is the truth, though you are oblivious.

Let’s talk about a very important equation. Oblivion + Public media = chaos. Go on to any sort of public media, what will you find? People sharing ideas passionately about things they are oblivious to. Before you make a statement, think to yourself, “do i actually know?”.

Let’s begin with this: How oblivious do you think you are? Odd question, right? The truth is, you and I are almost entirely oblivous. There are very few things we actually know. Such as 1+1=2, and that you have eyes. Think about that.
