For this study done by Longhouse consulting exclusively for @ETtech, the talent advisory firm did not include execs from India’s best known internet startup, Flipkart, which has its own long-established cohort. The list also excludes execs from other Walmart cos, PhonePe & Myntra

🔥🔥 In Feb 2015, I wrote a story on India’s burgeoning Startup Mafia. The trend was just about taking shape. Flipkart has since emerged as the IG of Startup mafias, having spawned hundreds of startups timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india…
Employees at these companies are seeing only 10% annual hikes on the higher side, while many are even forced to take a 10% cut, show the findings shared exclusively with ET.
The number of open job positions in these companies was about 200,000 during June 2022 to May this year, compared with 600,000 in the years earlier when disproportionate hikes and hirings were rampant in the sector.
