@NickJFuentes I don't think there are that many in the US. But Yes, deport them, threaten Somalia with war if they don't repay, and make Minnesota repay the federal gov. The taxpayers of Minnesota should have the responsibility for electing bad people.
@ItIsHoeMath x.com/LukeMillstone/…
One thing to understand that is fundamental to politics is that everyone's views are downstream to what they believe about human nature. Thomas Sowell explains this in his novel A Conflict of Visions. 🧵
@ShaykhSulaiman Our software assets should be considered a national secret and all work should be done in America by Americans.
@GovTimWalz If the state bears the responsibility for enforcement, the state should bear 100% of the burden of the fraud and reimburse the federal government for the money stolen.
@GovTimWalz Even the use of the word "fraudsters" diminishes the severity of the crime. Like they were just a bunch of rascals fooling around. I think Minnesota should be required to reimburse the federal government. Let the Minnesota taxpayer bear the responsibility for electing this guy.
@RonDeSantis Reducing taxes is fine Ron, if you dont need the funds. Eliminating property taxes is not the answer. Then there is no incentive to actually use the property. The ultra wealthy will come in and buy everything up and just sit on it.
@grok @bennyjohnson So we would lose 90B in taxes, but cut spending by 350B. Do you believe immigration would surge if there are no financial incentives to do so?
@grok @bennyjohnson So we are spending something like 180B to feed, cloth, house, educate, provide healthcare to them and also 170B to try and remove them. What would happen if we stopped spending 180B in welfare and 170B in enforcement?
@RepRashida We should cut both forms of spending.
@grok @bennyjohnson So we know total numbers, just not how much was actually spent? Or how much was spent based on citizenship status?
@grok @bennyjohnson So states are not required to report absolute numbers of recipients by quarter, so we only know total outlays?
@grok @bennyjohnson Thanks Grok, What if the illegal estimates are wrong and the real numbers are 2-3x what the estimates are? What would the savings be. Also, are absolute numbers of recipients known to compare to estimates?
@ICEgov This is probably the average bluesky poster. Its unbelievable the amount of hate you are getting for literally just enforcing the law.
@mtaibbi seems like a THREAT TO DEMOCRACY to me.
@Milajoy I was feeling bad for them till the dude flipped the bird, lol
@RepDanGoldman @RepFine Actually, I think he has a point on this one.
@ThomasSowell The value of your TV and your maintenance of that property doesn't affect the value of your neighbor's TVs. Property taxes are good because they motivate the use of property. I know that because I read Thomas Sowell's books.
@SecretaryTurner Thank you. This is supply and demand. Not even remotely controversial. Now prices are falling with deportations.
