Judge a Bitcoin treasury company by its worst quarter. Any CEO sounds smart when the price is going up. A drawdown shows who planned for it and who just hoped. I read the bad quarter's filing and earnings call first. How do they pay their obligations without selling coins? What did they change in their funding? Did they keep buying? Vague answers or a story that changes every quarter say more than any victory lap in a good one.

Fidelity Digital Assets just put a number on a buyer most people still miss. Perpetual preferred stock has helped companies accumulate 135,979 BTC in just over a year, more than 0.5% of all Bitcoin. Here is how the machine works. A company sells a preferred share that pays a fixed dividend and never matures. Income investors buy it for the yield. The company uses the cash to buy Bitcoin. Nobody in that chain has to be a Bitcoin believer for the coins to come off the market. The pace is the part that stands out. From March to May 2026 alone, issuers raised over $7B and bought more than 95,000 BTC. Fidelity also names the catch plainly. The strategy only works if Bitcoin's appreciation outpaces the cost of the yield. That is the number to watch at every treasury company that issues these. A bank transfer can be reversed, frozen or held for review days after you send it. A Bitcoin payment works the other way around. Once enough blocks are stacked on top of it, nobody can pull it back, and that includes the sender. That is the part of Bitcoin I'd put in front of any CFO thinking about a treasury. The asset settles on its own network, with no clearinghouse in the middle that can freeze it or claw it back, and the company can check that settlement itself at any hour.

@diglloyd @bot its connect to my google account where i have my calendar. there is a connector built in. it also drafts emails for me to review before I send out, which is another very convenient feature. "go into my email, find this person's email, and draft a new email saying XYZ."

Standard Chartered is taking crypto custody fully in house, signing definitive agreements to buy 100% of Zodia Custody, with regulated arms in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, the UAE and Luxembourg. Strive just declared the first dividends on its 15% SATS preferred, and after the first payment it pays every business day through Nov 30. $0.8710 a share lands Nov 9. Then $0.0658 a share on each of 13 business days from Nov 10 to Nov 30. That is about $1.73 a share declared through Nov 30. Bitcoin Fact #15: The first published Bitcoin exchange rate came from a site called New Liberty Standard on October 5, 2009, which priced $1 at 1,309.03 Bitcoin. There was no market yet, so the site worked out the price from the cost of the electricity needed to mine a coin.
