@BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 Lol. Eye test. Let’s just ignore evolution Let’s ignore that the 90s were overwhelmingly comprised of the best players in the country Todays game it’s the best players in the world. “Dominance” MJ had a 6 year run where he had the best roster and greatest HC ever
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 Tell us who the best players in the world were, who weren’t in the NBA. Tell us the names of those people who would have been GREAT in the league, they just weren’t.
@MATHnBASKETBALL @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 The world didn’t take Basketball as serious then as they do today. Case in point the 92 Olympics. The talent worldwide is way farther along than it even was in the 90s
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 lol how old are you?
@MATHnBASKETBALL @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 Literally has no relevance to this at all.
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 It does. It speaks to the willingness to make claims off vibes and feelings instead of facts.
@MATHnBASKETBALL @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 So. What age do I have to be to know that the world didn’t take basketball as seriously in the 90s that they do today?
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 That’s not something you “know” that’s your assumption. One you’re willing to accept, because of the other things you want to believe about the 90s depend heavily on it.
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 Every major European country had multiple pro leagues by the late 70s. International women’s pro leagues were thriving LONG before the 90s.. the Russing women won the first 2 Olympics. FIBA began in the 30s… but the world didn’t take basketball serious until the 2000s?? lol
@MATHnBASKETBALL @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 Were they as good back then as they are today?
@thejbratc @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 You tell me. You know at least something about the history of international basketball right?
@MATHnBASKETBALL @BeeCallaway @el_jefe562 I’ve already said it’s better. I want to hear what your thoughts are.
