Patriotism should not be about military training. Leaders must show patriotism by example; don’t be corrupt, respect the constitution, treat citizens right, etc. Leaders must be patriotic, even as they demand the citizens to be patriotic. During the campaigns, young people were brutalised for simply holding the national flag, yet Government is now saying it wants to teach them patriotism! #KeepingTheGovtInCheck

@InfluencerUg1 HE GOAT 😂

It's not how it starts, it's how it ends.

@UTDTrey What if we don't 🥹

@AKasingye @UgPoliceFC Otyo....🤔!?

Do I need to tell you how they swallowed the COVID relief funds from @FIFAcom ?They handed out a miserable 12M per club, promised to clear the balance later, & completely vanished with the rest. Years later, clubs are shutting down while the bosses sit on the money. Disgraceful!

I didn’t know it was about being the Spokesman of SC Villa. I started supporting Arsenal since 1995. That didn’t stop me from supporting SC Villa, or being manager and chairman of Police FC. If you remember well, I won with Police FC the Super League tittle in 2005 & CECAFA club championships in 2006. In fact, I remember the a day before we played the finals of CECAFA in Tz, all of us watched the CL finals between Arsenal and Barcelona. Where is the conflict of interest if I am SC Villa and also support Arsenal? You too support Manchester United. You’re proud of it. Should I say, it has affected your performance as FUFA President? My appointing authority is the President of SC Villa. Before he appointed me, he knew of my love for Arsenal. I have done my job. Let’s dwell on the bigger picture. Clubs feel a big void between FUFA and them. Last season started with a huge rift on the play format. It nearly rocked the boat. Why? Speaking alone without involving them. This season? Haven’t seen any FUFA meeting with clubs about the vision of our league & listening to their opinions. You last did this in 2022. Apparently, you called this meeting to embarrass me following the Kitende debacle. I haven’t heard of another meeting between you and clubs. We can support the league without trying to embarrass individuals. Lastly, my original opinion before your burst up about me like you’ve done so before, was actually in support of your vision of making clubs and football a big brand for business. I am shocked that instead of pronouncing yourself again on the matter, you chose to be personal. Do you know why Proline is in the cold? Because you fought personal wars with Mugib. When I talked about corruption in football, you sought to ban me, which you failed but succeeded in relegating Police FC. Let’s end personal wars against perceived enemies of FUFA President.

If it wasn’t for my response, you wouldn’t have talked about this matter in a federation you lead. In fact, I haven’t heard you in a long time talking about local football. We’ve not been talking about the foreign leagues since June but neither have we heard FUFA talking about the direction of local football including AFCON 2027. World Cup came & went & we didn’t hear you. AFCON is near the corner, & you can drop a pin & it will be louder than you telling Ugandans about what’s happening or going to happen about it. How ready is Uganda visa vis the other PAMOJA organizers & we’re numb. Somehow, you will accuse us of supporting foreign leagues. A player was murdered. I didn’t hear a single word from you. You didn’t even attend burial. You sent a representative but you even failed to call for a press conference later. Somehow, the foreign leagues must be blamed instead of your incompetence. Come on, we’re mature people. Give up & let someone who can overturn this conundrum come up.

@AKasingye These things don’t happen in countries where we cherish foreign leagues ahead of our own Local following means money to clubs to build capacity to develop players Ugandans have failed to understand that those foreign leagues are an extension imported services You find top
