NEW Video - Humane Pin Review: A Victim of its Future Ambition Full video: youtu.be/TitZV6k8zfA This clip is 99% of my experiences with the pin - doing something you could already do on your phone, but slower, more annoying, or less reliable/accurate. Turns out smartphones are pretty incredible. BUT there are occasional small glimpses of a future where this product could actually peel you away from your phone, reduce your screen time and help you live more in the moment. And i can’t be mad at that
@MKBHD Marques about to take down another company
@MKBHD Funny how the Vision Pro didn't get the same dislike treatment
@MKBHD Meh, it's a first gen AI product. With the slope of AI improvement, it could be faster than your phone in a 1-3 years. Comparing a 13th or 14th-generation product that has had billions of dollars in development to a new product from a start-up seems a little unfair.
@MKBHD In less than 2 months, you destroyed two companies but using a similar title for your video: "The worst xyz I've ever reviewed".
@MKBHD Easy to say for someone who has never built anything except for a YouTube channel.
@MKBHD Hopefully Humane will learn from this product & make something better eventually
I feel bad for Humane. There's a lot of innovation packed in that little thing. To build a totally hands free UI that people are able to grasp and make it theirs in 60seconds, it's a huge challenge and, for what I see, they made a pretty great job. If it was not $24 a month subscription, and the device priced at $399, I would give it a shot, even though everybody is saying how bad it is. I'm sure that the more and more people are using it, the more the guys behind are motivated to improve the software and find a best case scenario for it. I hope they don't give up. I bought so many devices that according to youtubers were great and I really didn't find the magic in it.
