Figgy looked great last night, you can tell his work in Arizona is paying off. Little things like pacing, knowing how to slow the fight when needed, finishing the end of each round strong. Beautiful performance.

Worst beat of the year for me was holding a Macy Chiasson by DEC ticket at +300 and then watching her get liver kicked from bottom and go down like she got hit by sniper fire. Brutal. Then Rogan actually asked Aldana if she trained that during camp in the post fight. Amazing.

So both judges that scored the fight for Stots had him winning the 5th round, but it’s the 50-45 scorecard that has everyone’s panties in a bunch. I guess being backpacked an entire round is enough to win it. That is way more egregious than the 50-45 IMO. Amazing.

Phil Rowe cashes, albeit he made it very interesting to start the third round after winning the first two. This was my largest wager of the evening and the only reason I turned a small profit on the event.

Holland is a clown, won’t waste another dime on him. Standing up twice while getting pieced up on the feet was the cherry on top. His physical gifts are no match for his fight IQ. Going to make it a point to weed out the entertainers from the fighters in 2023.

I regret not playing Dolidze. It was ultimately the very short notice that made me take it off the board. He has his share of detractors, but continues to find ways to win.
