พวกเราไม่ได้อยากสร้างความเกลียดชัง เราแค่อยากพูดความจริงในแบบที่ยุติธรรมและตรงไปตรงมา พวกเราทุกคนเป็นมนุษย์เหมือนกัน วันนี้ผมพูดในฐานะคนธรรมดาคนหนึ่ง ไม่ใช่ในฐานะศิลปินหรือคนดัง ผมแยกแยะได้เสมอว่า ความรักและความชื่นชมที่ให้มานั้นไม่ได้เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องขัดแย้งในตอนนี้เลย และผมไม่เคยคิดเหมารวมว่าชาวกัมพูชาที่รักและสนับสนุนผมตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมาคือคนไม่ดี หรือมีเจตนาไม่ดี ทุกความรักที่ส่งมาถึงผม ผมรับรู้และขอบคุณจากใจ สิ่งที่ผมพูดไม่ใช่เพื่อสร้างความเกลียดชัง หรือปิดกั้นใคร แต่เป็นเพียงความตั้งใจจะยืนอยู่ข้างความถูกต้องเพียงเท่านั้น ตอนนี้ผมแค่อยากยืนอยู่ข้างความถูกต้องที่เกิดขึ้น เราไม่ควรทำร้ายกัน ไม่ว่าจะด้วยวิธีไหนก็ตาม ทั้งคำพูดหรือการกระทำ ไม่มีใครอยากเห็นสงคราม เพราะมันมีแต่จะสร้างความเจ็บปวด ทั้งทางกายและทางใจ เราแค่อยากพูดความจริง และความจริงควรได้รับการรับฟัง การเข้าใจ และการแก้ไขด้วยสันติวิธี ขอบคุณครับ We do not seek to create hatred. We simply wish to share the truth fairly and justly. All of us are human, and today, I speak not as an artist or public figure, but as a fellow human being. I’ve always been able to distinguish between the love and support that has been given to me, and the current conflict. I have never generalized or assumed that the love and support from Cambodian people in the past came from anyone with ill intentions. I truly recognize and appreciate every bit of that kindness. What I’ve spoken is not meant to spread hatred or shut anyone out it simply comes from my sincere desire to stand on the side of what is right. Right now, I simply wish to stand for what is right. We should not harm one another in any form physically or emotionally. No one desires war, for every war brings pain to both the body and the soul. All we ask is to speak the truth. And truth deserves to be heard, acknowledged, and addressed through peaceful means. Thank you #TruthFromThailand
