"Mission Impossible - Final Reckoning" really does lack a strong, 'Bond Type,' super villain. A pivot from the "A.I. "Mega Threat" storyline would have been better, but they chose the easy path. It's a solid film, not nearly as good as "Fallout," and not a must see. 3.5 of 5✨

In the film, "Fight or Flight," they create an interesting character, played by Josh Hartnett. He has an intriguing and complex back story, that builds toward interesting possibilities. But, eventually, it employs an overkill of cartoonish action sequences. It gets 3 of 5 ✨

"Shadow Force" is a spy thriller that doesn't have beautiful, exotic locations or thrilling action sequences. It does have some unique character dynamics, which creates some humor along the way. The film is lacking in sex appeal between the leads, but is solid. 3.25 of 5✨

"Thunderbolts" is one of the best 'superhero' films ever made. One great thing is, it doesn't require watching ten prior films to understand plot references. Another, is that It doesn't rely upon the typical, all powerful, antagonist. There is, much more, complexity. 4.25 of 5✨

Nicholas Cages' new film, "The Surfer," qualifies as one of his 'weird' films. But that is what holds your interest. This is a metaphorical-allegorical film where his first dialogue is a 'classic' surfing metaphor. The film meanders, but, eventually, makes its point. 3 of 5✨

Another "Clippery-Slippery" playoff run, of sorts, comes to an abrupt end in the first round. Hoping Malone being fired, Murray being injured; and Westbrook being 'Westbrick,' helping, out, all up in classic🔥. A predictable, game 7 🥵. Well, at least, Kawhi is healthy, LMFAO!!

"The Accountant 2" is a very good follow-up to the original. The main story isn't anything very unique for this film genre, but it displays more of his 'special' personality traits; and familial ties. This film offers up more humor and has a sensitivity about it. 3.85 of 5 ✨
