I’ve always liked King Abdullah II. I’m well aware of the criticism against him, especially from the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters. But I’ve never let that define my view of him. I see him as an honourable leader who genuinely tries to serve Jordan and protect the stability of the region. And today, at the UN General Assembly, he once again spoke with remarkable clarity about Israel’s conduct: “This Israeli government’s expansionist appetite is now a regional threat. And today, Syria is the warning. The international community is choosing not to see repeated incursions, creeping territorial expansion, new facts and posts on the ground, including around vital water resources. 🚨BREAKING: Gaza Civil Defense says around 100 civilians remain missing under the rubble of the collapsed building in Gaza City. It urged the international community to provide the necessary equipment to recover those trapped beneath the rubble.
Iran fired ~20 ballistic missiles (some with cluster warheads) at the U.S.-used Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan tonight. Videos show massive Patriot salvos — OSINT counts put it at 60+ interceptors, some estimates over 100.
