How would I describe the Werewolf films of Paul Naschy? They feel like a blend of Universal Monster rally, Hammer Horror, and the Italian gothic horror films of the 60s and early 70s (even when they're set in modern day). The flavor of Spanish horror that makes it stand out.
@MadWolfman I'd say Universal horror plus Hammer horror plus the spirit of trashy horror comics.
@MadWolfman I really should watch some of Naschy's werewolf movies because I feel like an isolated scene from one of them was something I saw as a kid that I've yet to find the source for. (A good and a bad werewolf having a showdown in the snow. There was also a flower and some girl...)
@MadWolfman If only a dedicated horror themed free to air TV channel would show some of his work...🤔😉
@MadWolfman I love Naschy movies! Yes, it's a good description.
@MadWolfman I would describe them as "badass". Love them.
@MadWolfman I watched ‘Frankenstein’s Bloody Terror’ and ‘Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll’ this weekend. I love Paul’s movies
@MadWolfman I love the combo of old school horror, sex and violence, and Naschy's weird star power
