@tylerhnorris Germany's cabinet agreed the mirror image on 29 July: automatic connection in congested zones, in exchange for giving up curtailment compensation. Two continents, the same trade — grid access priced in curtailed hours. Both price that hour. Neither says what to do with it.

Right thesis. The next question after you've unlocked the long tail: how does the value those distributed batteries generate cross borders? Centralized megaprojects move electrons anywhere. Distributed nodes need a settlement layer that works the same way — without new wires. That's what we went live with on testnet last month.

7/No bubble possible. The token isn't a promise of future profit — it's a unit of stored energy, settle-able with any connected operator for real kWh, right now. You can always check: is the market price tracking the energy it can buy? Physical reality keeps the market honest.
