@FOXLA I don't understand who the audience for this law is. This makes it so you can only drive your car a 1kmi a year, adds taxes to your registration and mandates special insurance. It will still be illegal to modify the emissions components, exhaust still requires carb compliant cat.
@ABC7 This shit is a joke. Those cars need all the emissions shit to run properly and you can't modify it even after the law takes effect. If your cat goes bad you still have to buy a carb compliant cat. Still special insurance and additional registration tax. Who's the audience here?
@CAgovernor @jayleno @LenosGarage It will still be illegal to modify the exhaust, all of the emissions shit that's on it has to be functioning properly in order for the car to run properly. Also you can only drive it 1k miles and you have to pay extra for registration. It makes more sense to just smog the car.
