Israeli journalist @ronenbergman has a remarkable quote from a source with knowledge of Israeli discussions on Iran: "If the talks were broadcast live on Youtube, you'd have 4 million people clamoring at Ben Gurion airport trying to get out of here." ynet.co.il/news/article/b…
@MairavZ @ronenbergman We need to pass the message to them to know it then.
That’s not surprising to me. Iran has gotten past the iron dome. I’m sure this was a test. A simple strategy worked very well. Now add a probable couple of nuclear warheads into this situation. Israel could be gone in a short time. We may have reached mutual assured destruction between these regional powers. I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel starts treading very carefully on all fronts and accepts an entente cordiale with Iran. I see the Israel decision to bomb the embassy as one of the most stupid they’ve made. And I see Iran as the big winner here.
@MairavZ @MarkAmesExiled @ronenbergman Isreal has like a 10 million population right?
@MairavZ @mehdirhasan @ronenbergman Time for an impeachments or vote of no confidence or whatever the hell they do in Israel....
@MairavZ @ronenbergman That kind of incendiary and sensationalism-style sentence is not only misleading but fueling those who think Israelis are in Israel for fun and that they belong somewhere else 🤦
@MairavZ @ronenbergman I think Iran who gave two weeks notice globally of it's intention It endorsed the attack would only be military targets And it informed USA and UK of its validity under the @UN law of right to defences as Isreal have claimed and asked they not interfere It's obvious to them know
@MairavZ @ronenbergman What on earth are the Israelis scared of? Iran demonstrably can’t hurt them. Are they convinced Iran has some hitherto unknown weapon!!?
@MairavZ @ronenbergman The Iron Dome is a modern-day Maginot Line.
@MairavZ @ronenbergman «frantic diplomacy» «to Iranian foreign ministers from Germany, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and Turkey..» «Iran.. decided as a result to greatly reduce the volume of its attack, and move the targets of the attack to areas far from the center.»
