“Laundry Day” (2022) on @MakersPlace The laundromat is a physical representation of the importance of renewal in human life. This is embodied by the act of taking dirty laundry, our personal artifacts of deterioration, to the laundromat to be cleaned and cleansed.
Digital art isn't meant to replace anything in the real world. I actually think the combo of physical and digital only expands what is possible for artists in both worlds. That to me is the most interesting... To each their own!
