Was made to feel very welcome by Derbyshire's County Priory Group today, it was excellent to discuss @stjohnambulance in the county and its plans for the future, not to mention how the Order of St John can support us in our efforts to support the public.

Finishing up after a busy final day, excellent work from all our @SJAEast volunteers. You can see the great number of roles we have here in @stjohnambulance, first aiders, cycle responders, doctors, nurses and volunteer ambulance crew!
Not a bad trip home from Derby to Nottingham. Got thanked by a shop clerk, and asked by a lady of the bus how to sign up as a first aider! Working hypothesis: must have been my aftershave. @stjohnambulance @SJAEast
Caffeine and communications equipment, the lifeblood of an event control room (a small selection). Experienced professionals here from @SJAEastComms coordinating the large footprint of the Derby Half Marathon. Excellent work!
