All-NBA center Jalen Duren is not attending Detroit Pistons media day Monday nor the start of training camp, declining the team’s five-year, $200 million fully guaranteed offer in restricted free agency so far, sources tell ESPN. The sides remain at a stalemate ahead of Thursday deadline on a one-year, $9.6 million qualifying offer.

@P_Rod29 I think it's about time we retire the thought of Vando being a lockdown defender. He's rarely showed that the past 2 seasons. I like the guy, but he's 1 dimensional and that dimension was exposed in the playoffs.

@PlayoffLucro @RajChipalu @KDTrey5 KD has responded to him before on a thoughtful basketball related question before. Honestly that type of dialogue is dope for anyone that loves hoops.

@P_Rod29 Seriously man, being a cowboys fan is so dumb. lol.

@P_Rod29 Still doesn’t solve the problem that our gajillion dollar payroll doesn’t have an actual short stop on the team.

@P_Rod29 Yeah bro. This is nuts.

@P_Rod29 All season. It’s arrogance. The whole coaching staff is arrogant and thinks it’ll just correct. Nobody should be going home without a broken nose tonight. Except Shohei.

@Fish7718 @PitchingNinja I loved Dustin May… but sometimes that sweeper doesn’t sweep and becomes a spinny 65mph meatball. When he’s on, his stuff is elite. After recovering from TJ, I think he had maybe 2 elite starts and the rest have been his ball finding lots of bats. I wish him the best.

@P_Rod29 Honestly? Right. A tiny percentage of these guys will actually become a regret. Trade em all for sure things. That’s the whole point of these assets and scouting. If they turn into stars, we’ll trade for em later lol

@P_Rod29 Lakers fans are just a bit more insufferable this offseason than ever before.

@damanr I love guys that have the audacity to believe in themselves. You see it in his confidence pulling off those curls. The talent is right there. I didn’t see any other dimension to him than his shooting. Is it enough to carve out a meaningful role? I kinda hope so.

@TheDunkCentral @TheSteinLine @DLLS_Mavs @NationMffl That’s why I only ever go to opening weekend. Glad I was able to watch this kid do his thing: he’s the real deal:

@LegionHoops @ashishmathur That exec was Pat Riley… who’s trying to get Rui, Knecht, and a 1st for Andrew Wiggins.

@AminoBoxing @_MatthewPeralta Problem is other GM’s know that and their price is pretty high for that. I doubt Pelinka disagrees that’s what’s missing. Finding a GM to play ball without gutting major assets is key. There’s going to be sellers mid season and I think that 1RP will be valuable then

@damanr I’ll be going again this year, but when I bought the tix for me and my boy, I was shocked. Like, I really spent $406 for 3 days of hoops? Used to cost me $35/day with fees.

@P_Rod29 I want to see the shorts. Immediately. One thing I HATE about the Lakers jerseys (with the exception of their purples), is the piping on shorts don’t match the tops.
