How the hell does ANYONE use this app anymore?! Half the tweets in my feed are ads or suggestions but there is no indication unless I tap on the tweet. What a user hostile mess.

if they really have shut down 3rd party apps permanently, then I’m done. They don’t care about my puny account, I know. I use Twitter to aggregate news more than anything anymore, but the ad experience just doesn’t make it worth anything to me.

Twitter 2.0 had promise. But what we’ve gotten so far is more ads, an incoherent and confusing timeline experience, and an $11 per month Twitter Blue subscription that adds nothing of value.

So if third party apps are just out in the cold, I cannot abide with using Twitter, whether the website or their own app. The experience is TOTAL garbage, it’s more tweets from people I DONT follow than from the people I DO follow. That’s completely broken.

For the third time now a link has opened in a whole new tab group on my iPhone and I’ve lost all my other open tabs. This is stupid behavior and Apple needs to fix it. It’s totally breaking the way I access the web

Seeing all the takes on what is/n’t happening at Twitter is pretty hilarious. Some think nothing is amiss, others think the sky is falling. Also funny to see how recently some ppl had the exact opposite view when the Elon deal was first announced.

Honestly, if it weren’t for the posts telling me that Twitter is a train wreck and/or dumpster fire today, I wouldn’t notice any difference. Maybe I really have narrowed my feed down to only the civil people?
