🇪🇺 MiCA Is Reshaping Europe’s Crypto Landscape
🚨 **Now that the MiCA transition period has ended, is Europe’s crypto industry really becoming safer — or are we witnessing a major shake-up?**
Poland may be the clearest example.
The country once had more than **2,000 registered virtual asset service providers**, but regulatory uncertainty and delays in implementing the domestic framework have put significant pressure on local crypto businesses.
📌 Since July 1, registration on Poland’s old virtual currency register is no longer enough to operate as a VASP/CASP
📌 Without MiCA authorization, crypto services can no longer legally continue
📌 Germany has issued **57 MiCA licenses**
📌 France and the Netherlands have each issued **26**
📌 Poland, Greece, Hungary and Romania have issued **zero between them**
So here’s the bigger question:
**MiCA was supposed to create one unified regulatory framework across all 27 EU member states. Why is it creating such a significant gap between countries?**
Businesses may relocate.
Talent may follow.
And capital will naturally look for jurisdictions with clearer and more workable regulatory environments.
Polish investors are estimated to hold around **€9.4 billion in digital assets**.
That means MiCA isn’t simply about “regulation.”
It could reshape:
🏦 **Which countries become Europe’s crypto hubs**
💰 **Where capital flows**
🏢 **Which crypto companies survive and expand**
🇪🇺 **What Europe’s digital asset landscape looks like in the future**
**Regulation may not eliminate crypto.**
Instead, it could determine:
**Who stays, who leaves, and which countries ultimately capture the growth of Europe’s regulated crypto market.** 👀
I’ll continue tracking **MiCA, European crypto licensing, institutional capital and regulatory developments.**
**Do you think MiCA will ultimately make Europe’s crypto industry stronger — or push crypto companies and capital toward a handful of “crypto-friendly” countries?**

🚨 NVIDIA’S AI INFRASTRUCTURE IS GOING TO SPACE
Nvidia says SpaceXAI plans to deploy Nvidia Vera CPUs to power the next generation of AI applications behind Grok.
What makes this interesting is that the AI infrastructure story may be expanding beyond traditional data centers.
AI agents → Vera CPUs → Massive AI factories → Orbital computing
SpaceXAI plans to scale its AI infrastructure toward gigawatt level computing while exploring the use of the Vera Rubin platform in space.
Nvidia shares were down around 3%, but the long term story is worth watching.
The big question is:
Could space based computing become the next frontier for AI infrastructure? 👀
I’m watching NVDA, AI infrastructure and SpaceXAI closely.

### 🇬🇧 CRYPTO IS ENTERING POLITICS
🚨 **£20 MILLION. That’s the number getting attention in the UK today.**
New analysis of Electoral Commission data shows that **Reform UK has received around £20M from cryptocurrency-linked investors since 2024.**
That represents roughly **60% of the party’s donations** over the period.
And the money is heavily concentrated:
🐋 **Christopher Harborne → £15M**
💰 **Ben Delo → £4M**
💷 **Maria Rost → £1.125M**
But here’s the bigger question:
**Why is crypto money becoming such a major force in political funding?**
This isn’t just a UK political story.
It raises a much bigger issue for the crypto industry:
📌 Will governments become more crypto-friendly?
📌 Will political parties compete for support from crypto investors?
📌 And where does the line between legitimate political funding and crypto influence get drawn?
The UK government has already moved toward tighter rules around crypto political donations, with the Rycroft Review recommending a moratorium on cryptoasset political donations earlier this year.
**Crypto is no longer just a financial story.**
It’s increasingly becoming a **political story, too.** 👀
I’ll keep tracking the intersection of **Crypto × Regulation × Politics × Big Money**.
**Do you think crypto is gaining political influence — or is this simply wealthy investors putting their money where they see opportunity?**

Quantum stocks across the board were leaping on Friday as market participants took advantage of the long-term opportunity they might provide.
The most recent wave of earnings reports from quantum computing companies demonstrated substantial year-over-year revenue gains from several firms.
D-Wave (QBTS) climbed 7% by noon trading after the company received an Outperform rating and $35 price target from BMO Capital Markets. The company utilizes annealing and gate-model systems.
"Having both technologies allows QBTS to address different quantum applications and unlock the full TAM potential," said BMO analyst Harsh Kumar in an investor note. "D-Wave has an addressable market opportunity of $450-850 billion, based on estimates from BCG. Within this, annealing is about $100-220 billion and the rest from gate model."
D-Wave is one of the few quantum companies that generates commercial revenue from its annealing quantum computers. BMO expects them to begin offering customers access to its gate-based systems by 2028 as it also pursues commercialization of complete quantum systems. D-Wave has sold two quantum systems this year, and it anticipates selling two to three complete systems per year starting in 2027.
On Wednesday, IBM (IBM) revealed it had "successfully" joined and cooled down two cryogenic modules into a single environment, an important milestone on its path to creating the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computer. IBM ticked up 2% on Friday.
Rigetti (RGTI) had jumped 9% by noon trading. Its second-quarter earnings results demonstrated progress as system and component sales totaled $4.1M compared to zero during the same quarter one year prior.
Meanwhile, Quantum Computing (QUBT) leaped 8%. Its second-quarter results featured revenue of $5.6M compared to the $65,000 it produced a year earlier and $3.7M for the quarter prior.
"Looking ahead, we remain focused on two complementary growth engines," said Quantum Computing CEO Yuping Huang during the earnings call. "First, we will continue to move aggressively along our quantum technology road map, leveraging our differentiated room temperature photonic architecture to develop quantum systems that are smaller, more scalable, and more practical for real-world deployment. As these technologies become commercially viable, it allows us to better serve our existing customer base, who will be exploring use cases for these systems."
"Second, we will continue to grow our commercial portfolio of photonic components, lasers, detectors, photonic integrated circuits, thin-film lithium niobate technologies, optical packaging, advanced packaging, semiconductor manufacturing, and other foundry services," he added.
IQM Quantum Computers (IQMX) popped up 7% on Friday. Its second-quarter revenue increased 27% year over year to $7.8M. It now expects full-year revenue of $49M to $55M. IQM went public in late June.
Infleqtion (INFQ), another quantum company that went public earlier this year, surged 9% by early afternoon trading. Its most recent earnings boasted a 112% year-over-year revenue jump.
IonQ (IONQ) increased 7.5%. Earlier this week, it revealed a new partnership with the Canadian Microelectronics Corporation to expand quantum computing access to Canada-based researchers and businesses.
Revenue growth, system sales and new partnerships are starting to give investors more concrete signals beyond the long term technology story.
But with valuations and expectations rising quickly, the next question is whether these companies can turn technological progress into sustainable revenue growth.
Is quantum computing becoming the next major technology investment cycle, or is the market moving too far ahead of the fundamentals? 👀

The odds of a Fed rate hike in September are falling sharply. Goldman Sachs says a September hike is now “very unlikely” as weaker employment, inflation, and consumer spending data reduce the case for further tightening. Still, markets haven’t completely ruled out future rate hikes, with the path ahead depending heavily on incoming economic and inflation data
Anthropic could be preparing for a record-breaking Wall Street debut.
According to the Financial Times, the Claude maker is moving toward a potential October listing, with investors discussing a valuation of more than $2 trillion.
The bullish case comes down to growth. Anthropic reportedly ended May at $47 billion in annualized revenue, with investors projecting that could reach $100B–$120B by December.
But a jump from a roughly $965B private valuation to $2T in just months would be an enormous test of investor appetite for AI.
Meanwhile, crypto markets are already trading tokenized pre-IPO exposure to Anthropic before the company even reaches the public market.
If the $2T valuation holds, AI could enter an entirely new valuation era. If it doesn’t, the fallout could reprice the broader sector.

🚨 BREAKING: SpaceX has officially completed its $60 billion acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind AI coding platform Cursor — one of the largest startup acquisitions ever recorded.
This is more than a massive M&A headline.
The bigger story is the accelerating convergence of AI, computing infrastructure and software.
With Cursor joining SpaceX’s expanding AI strategy, the deal gives Musk another major piece in the race against OpenAI and Anthropic, while potentially creating new synergies between AI models, computing capacity and AI-powered software development.
For investors, the key question isn’t simply whether $60B is expensive.
It’s whether SpaceX can turn its growing AI infrastructure into a scalable, high-margin business.
The AI race is moving beyond models — infrastructure, compute and applications are becoming equally important.
Strategy (MSTR) has pushed back against MSCI’s proposed methodology for identifying “non-operating companies,” which could result in the largest bitcoin treasury company being removed from the index provider’s global equity indexes.
Strategy said on X, “Digital assets are assets. Index providers should measure markets, not decide which assets companies are allowed to own,” Strategy said. “MSCI’s proposal puts it out of step with regulators, markets, and its own customers. Bitcoin doesn’t need MSCI. Neither does Strategy.”
The latest consultation replaces an earlier proposal focused specifically on companies with significant digital asset holdings. Applying the new financial-ratio screen using May 2026 data would have resulted in the removal of Strategy, Metaplanet and uranium holder Yellow Cake from the MSCI ACWI IMI.
The response follows Strategy’s formal objection in December 2025 to MSCI’s previous proposal, which would have excluded companies whose digital assets represented at least 50% of total assets.
Strategy argued at the time that it is an operating company, not an investment fund or passive bitcoin vehicle, pointing to its software business, active treasury operations and bitcoin-backed credit instruments. It described the 50% threshold as arbitrary and urged MSCI to maintain neutral index standards.
Tesla is talking flying cars once again as it preps for a Roadster demo
Tesla (TSLA) is reportedly preparing to unveil a radically redesigned next-generation Roadster version as early as this month after a long delay. Earlier in the week, Elon Musk noted that "we will have flying cars!"
A Roadster demonstration at SpaceX's (SPCX) site in McGregor, Texas, could include showing off a limited-edition, SpaceX-branded version of the model using cold-gas thruster technology to perform a highly theatrical “flying” or hovering stunt. Elon Musk has been teasing the “flying car” potential for the Roadster for more than a year, so it is unclear what the strategy will be following any high-profile demo of a “flying” Roadster.
Any special edition of the Roadster would likely be a niche, extremely costly machine rather than a mass-market Tesla (TSLA). It is expected to be non-street-legal, potentially priced from hundreds of thousands into the millions of dollars, and may be offered through an owner program resembling Ferrari’s supervised track-car arrangements.
Looking back, the Roadster was the company’s first production car. The model was sold from 2008 to 2012 and is widely considered an important proof-of-concept with consumers that a lithium-ion battery sports car could deliver both real-world range and high performance. Built on a heavily modified Lotus Elise chassis with an AC induction motor and a roughly 200-mile real-world range, it sold in limited numbers at prices around and above six figures, with total production of about 2,450 units before the program ended as Tesla (TSLA) shifted focus to the Model S. A second-generation Roadster was first unveiled as a prototype in 2017 as an all-electric supercar promising sub-2-second 0–60 mph acceleration, more than 250 mph top speed, and a claimed range around 620 miles from a roughly 200 kWh battery pack. However, Tesla (TSLA) has delayed the launch of the updated version at least eight times since then.
Shares of Tesla (TSLA) rose 2.4% in Friday morning trading.

Bitcoin is facing another inflation test after CPI, while Trump–Iran tensions keep global markets on edge. 📷📷
Now traders are watching PPI.
If producer inflation comes in cooler than expected, markets may see relief. That could support risk appetite, improve Bitcoin sentiment, and help Ethereum and altcoins recover.
If PPI comes in hotter than expected, the opposite could happen. The dollar may strengthen, Treasury yields may rise, Wall Street could weaken, and Bitcoin may face another critical pressure test.
At the same time, Trump–Iran tensions, oil prices, inflation expectations, gold, ETF flows, and broader market confidence all remain important.
