A non mainstream approach would be to depict their history as is, which is something that not many people do. The current mainstream approach portrays them at either extreme with the usual historical anachronism, which I’m guessing to be this case, based on the drawing alone.

Based conquistadors take out cannibalistic Aztec savages in my new comic. We're doing what no one in the mainstream will.

The Burning Towers at the Sea Diving into ‘Napoleonic War’ meant that eventually, I’d be asked to include the depictions of ‘Ship of the Line’ in this period, including the famous first rate ‘HMS Victory’ and the lumbering ‘Santisima Trinidad’ Let’s see where the wind takes me

Visioning the ‘Visored Great Helm’ (cont..) The ‘Chronicles of Lady Oda the Pious’ allowed me to explore medieval western European arms and armours of the XIV century, but if there’s one thing that still bugs me, it’s the ‘Visored Great Helm’...

A Short Note on ‘Lady Oda the Pious’ For those who wonder on my recent drawings, Lady Oda is a fictional character from the HWS (Historically Wrong Sektch) series, inspired by and set during the latter stage of Northen Crusade. “Chronicles of Lady Oda the Pious”
