I also would like to be blowing my money, but I don’t because I don’t expect others to cover my needs :)

Getting real sick of Gofundme culture, where people fully expect others to pay for their needs while also publicly running around spending money on crap they want. Like…maybe if you’re gonna ask me for money don’t let on that you’re blowing yours??

@musicbyknox I think it’s always best to just write what comes naturally to you instead of trying to write what you think people want, cause at the end of the day, we all want authenticity!

This time last year, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said that releasing movies in theaters was "an outmoded idea for most people" and that consumers wanted "to watch movies at home." Today, movie theaters have scored their biggest weekend of all time at the global box office.

twitter might be the only place where “being mad at me for being late all the time is ableist” is a genuine take. you people cannot keep rejecting the responsibilities and social expectations of adulthood by hiding behind your adhd

A24 has released a statement defending their AI research partnership with Google. “Our relationship with our audience is something we don’t take for granted. This partnership exists because we want to dictate what tools get built for artists, and so they have a voice in shaping

I’ve ignored the discourse surrounding lateness as a moral failing because punctuality is my biggest pet peeve and if you can’t be on time for anything I think less of you as a person since you have no respect for me or my time

idk about you guys but i will probably be passing on all future A24 products unless they are free to watch via streaming. personally, i have zero interest in financially supporting the dismantling of the film industry brick by brick via AI.

Obsession is such an embarrassment to every producer and studio head and filmmaker who bemoans the impending death of filmmaking and wants to shepard us towards "evolving" into AI filmmaking. Sorry bozos, just make better movies.

Watching Obsession’s rise to the top is giving me so much hope for the future of horror and honestly cinema as a whole, this makes me so unreasonably happy
