The intricacies of God's juris prudence passages fascinate me, because, far from hard-edged, 2-dimensional fiats, God's laws incorporated subtlety, accounted for "priors," and allowed for extenuating circumstances. It's unexpected...and so very God-like.

Necessary. Sometimes quite difficult to achieve.

"What have you done for me lately...God?" Sadly, a people and their gratitude are (too often) soon parted.

Here’s a good idea: When faced with His opposition, try negotiating with God...Always works, just ask pharaoh…

Translation: “Have you lost your mind? It’s over; you can’t win!” Tragic how people insist on fighting God when they can’t win and after their life lies in ruins-Pride, I guess. People often ride it all the way to an end they insist isn’t real and from which they can’t escape.

Sunrises, bright blue spring skies, unexpected money, clean scans, daughters’ smiles, timely verses, repentant prayers, laughter, forgiveness, old friends, new friends, lilacs, piercing wisdom, restoration, sons’ hugs, unobliged love, redemption, grace, mercy…Yup. Pass them on.

Many times I’ve looked up from the rubble of certainty that God was going to act on my timeline shouting Moses’ question…Usually only after I resemble Wile E. Coyote on the business end of an Acme Explosive do I learn yet again I’m not God’s Administrative Assistant.

Ex. 3:5 vs. Js. 4:8: Shout out to the New Testament!...Love the OT but, as always, Jesus changes everything for the better...

Ex. 1:19-21 & 2:12- Midwives lied & Moses murdered, and both were greatly used of God...If God can use liars and murderers, I imagine there's hope for all of us...
