@latsondheimer Fun! Moved to Ventura so don’t get to make it to many Amat games. Hubby and I are Lancers for Life and it’s fun to see them making their way back this year.

@ceedeetooPrime @latsondheimer @SGVWhitSports Often, football and baseball coaches don’t share well; punish the player. It’s a different world from my 70s high school sports. There were athletically gifted kids having a blast and shining in different arenas.

@latsondheimer It was crazy. I’m thrilled to see my alma mater working its way back to a level of performance that wins rings and creates legends. @Kmine4 let’s keep it going!!

@teufelhund0351 @latsondheimer < than 2% of HS athletes play D1, < than 7% play any collegiate sports. My argument is valid that most students lose far more than they gain by school/coach hopping. The sense of loyalty, camaraderie, pride, team building & lifelong friendships far outweigh the slim chance of $

@teufelhund0351 @latsondheimer You make some good points. I’d be interested in knowing whether their grades do in fact improve and whether it does help keep them out of trouble. From my view as a 50 year loyal Amat fan, something is lost for these kids in the school hopping. And is the grass always greener?
