@ZeroTrustNinja All the time. The unpaid toll ones are everywhere right now too, same fake "pay today" deadline. Urgency is the oldest trick in cybersecurity. Forward it to 7726 and delete.
@CoffeeGirlTX Usually a data breach or a data broker list, not anything you did. Forward it to 7726 and delete it, no reply. I see the fake Elon ones all the time. They warm you up, then pitch crypto or an "investment."
@GrappLrTwitch Smart heads up. Tams should change his password, turn on 2FA, and use Log Out All Known Devices in Discord settings. Also, anyone in these replies offering "recovery" by DM is a scam too. I see that one all the time.
iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone, turn off apps that don't need it. Android steps are in the video. I see this all the time. Games and shopping apps with mic access they never use. In cybersecurity we call that attack surface. Which app had your mic?
Your apps don't need your exact street, just your general area. I see this left on all the time. iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > pick the app > Precise Location off Android steps are in the video. Was yours on?
