@Allinbry Never really liked or understood copying traders. What makes sense for one person could be totally wrong for you. You most likely don’t have the same experience, cash, pain tolerance, etc.

IMO, out of the five, #2 is the one most traders skip. Fixed risk. Same size on every trade, no bigger trades to win back a loss. Not exciting, and that’s exactly why it works. Which one matters most in your opinion?

@tradertheory From the firm side, the accounts that last usually aren’t the busiest ones. Fewer, better trades tend to survive a lot longer.

@martinfxtrade It’s a great feeling. Doing it again is even better because you know you’re on to something and it’s not just luck.

From the firm side, a lot of blown challenges don’t come from bad analysis. They come from one trade where the stop got moved.

@tradercams I think the main issue is wrong expectations. A lot of people think that placing a 1K trade will make them rich. And most of them don't really do their homework before placing the trade.

@jtrader Agree on this one but I'd say FOMO and panic selling are close to it. Trading based on your emotions instead of strategy is almost never the best idea.

@Allinbry Discipline’s clearly there. Now he just needs a strategy that hits the target.
