Donald is not going to like this. 😎 As the March 25th deadline fast approaches for Donald to pay the $464 million he owes in his fraud case, it turns out that the one option that makes the most sense, according to experts, is for him to sell Mar-a-Lago. Here’s why. 👇🏼 While speaking to CNN’s Erin Burnett, real estate expert Bess Freedman said that Donald is facing a serious time crunch. In order to come up with the $464 million he owes this coming Monday, he may be forced to sell Mar-a-Lago--which, according to one of Donald’s former aides, is “one of his babies.” “We don’t have enough time,” Freedman said. “I think you need at least 30 days to get any of these properties sold.” In fact, Donald is so desperate, she added, that prospective buyers likely won’t have time to see it. “Between now and Monday, that’s picking up the phone, calling someone and then literally writing a check,” she said. While Donald has claimed Mar-a-Lago is worth $1 to 2 billion dollars, Erin Burnett made it clear the value is actually closer to $240 million. Even if he’s able to sell his club, he’d still need to find an additional $224 million unless the court steps in. It’s highly unlikely he’ll find it underneath his couch cushions although I’m pretty sure he’s looking.
@MaryLTrump Selling, having to sell his precious Mar-a-Lago, while it may make economic sense, would publicly brand him a pauper. He might be able to afford it financially, but it would most likely doom the Trump MAGA movement to death by humiliation.
@MaryLTrump Erin Burnett says it's worth 240 million. Didn't the AG and judge value it at 18 million?
