@k_seguun13 @caribAmerican Could you imagine if in Cap: Winter Soldier, Bucky just not thrown the shield back to Steve and just kept it himself? Then what? Steve gets taken out by handguns. Simply don't write it that way. Sam loses the wingsuit? He gets it back one way or another.

@k_seguun13 @caribAmerican We've seen what Tony did when his suits were disabled. Sam could just be written similarly. Tony went to Walmart and made some scrappy junk just to take out random security guards and then got 1 shotted later. Sam without his wings took on multiple mind controlled soldiers.

@caribAmerican @k_seguun13 The writers can simply just not do that. The same way how when Tony's armors were disabled or lost, he found a way to fight without it and get them back. There are more super soldiers than wingsuit flyers in the MCU.

@caribAmerican While it's far too late to make Sam have an intellect on par with Hank, Shuri, and Peter in the MCU, it's still not too late to make him smart enough to repair, modify, and know his way around his wingsuit and other tech since that's already been shown in TFATWS too.

@k_seguun13 @caribAmerican The serum is primarily tied with someone being Captain America when it shouldn't be. The choice of not giving Sam the serum greatly subverts the mantle, especially the fact that having the serum isn't a requirement for being Captain America at all.

@Blue__Ronin @caribAmerican That is unless, in the fictional world of the MCU, the bird is shown to not die easily, refuses to leave Sam himself, and proves himself useful, thus forcing Sam to keep him around.
