@mattcolville Problem is, thats wrong. The cuckoo clock is produced in the black forrest (Germany) not in Switzerland. Switzerland mainly makes watches. The escapement mechanism, that is needed for both tipes of clocks, was invented in Switzerland in the 13th century though.
