To use l'Hospital's Rule, you need an indeterminate form. Using l'H without this sometimes yields a false answer: lim x->1 2x/(3x+1). While 0/∞ is *not* an indeterminate form (the limit is 0), is there an example where attempting to use l'H on 0/∞ results in a wrong answer?

Thought on the way in to work today: The Catholic practice of regular self-examination and Confession makes me a better prof. Higher ed as a whole IMO has a real problem with owning mistakes and seeking forgiveness; for me that's everyday life.
